Where should we get our photos done?
The first step to deciding where you want to have your photography session is to decide what you want to see in your images. Key points are forest areas, bodies of water, cityscapes, sky views, open fields & dry grass. Once you have determined that I can help you pick from the many locations I know and love. I you have a location in mind for your session thats just as good! I go to each location to make sure it will work well for what we are going for and then chat with my clients about pros & cons with your photos in mind.
What time of day is best for family photos?
The best light is always in the early morning right after sunrise or the hour before sunset. Light is a key factor in making sure your images turn out beautiful. If summer sunsets are too late for your kiddos happy time, go for a spring session before daylight savings happens. Each season comes with different times for sunrise & sunset, and I am here to help you navigate and plan to have the best light in your images.
When will we get our photos?
Photo delivery times vary by season & session type. My typical turnaround time for petite & full sessions is 1-2 weeks. This may change though depending on the season & my availability. I always discuss my current turnaround times with my clients in my contract while booking.
